In the following week I will release an updated version of AWI. The original code base is compatible with the latest version of wordpress, and will also be tested using the new swx format.

AWI is an exciting project to work on because the goal of the project is to integrate the AMFPHP protocol with the popular blogging software Wordpress. The reason why I find this so exciting is because it will finally give flash developers the chance to write full featured flash blogs.

I am working towards a final version that will integrate into Wordpress seamlessly as a theme and have support for dual html and flash interfaces with graceful degradation.

I will try to keep everybody updated as to how the progress is going.
